General Information

Tacoma Rail’s Tidelands Division and Lakewood Subdivision move more than 20 million feet of rail equipment across 43 miles of track each year. That is about the distance from Tacoma to Chicago and back. 

This makes Tacoma Rail one of the busiest Class III railroads. Our work also helps support Tacoma’s economy and keeps goods moving across the region.
